Research reference: DJ Event Planner’s 2025 event-request charts. This guide was revised in September 2026; the linked annual charts cover requests made in 2025 and include songs from many years. They are industry references, not DJ P-LO’s own request statistics or a ranking of 2026 releases.

Make the music your own

  1. Choose your must-plays. Start with a short list of songs that matter most to you.
  2. Tell us what to skip. Share do-not-play songs, genres and any preferences about group dances or explicit lyrics.
  3. Separate the special moments. For weddings, list ceremony selections, introductions, first dance, family dances and the closing song separately.
  4. Share the right versions. Add Spotify, Apple Music or YouTube links when a particular recording or edit matters.

Send your choices through your existing planning form. Your DJ can use that direction to shape the music around your guests and the flow of the celebration.

Music-planning questions

Are these all songs released in 2026?

No. Updated 2026 refers to this guide’s revision date. It combines music from several decades and uses published 2025 event-request charts as a research reference.

Can we request music that is not listed?

Absolutely. Share your favorite artists, cultural selections and playlist links so we can discuss how they fit your celebration.

Do we need to choose every song?

Start with your must-plays, do-not-plays and preferred styles. Leave room for your DJ to respond to your guests throughout the celebration.

Can we ask for clean edits?

Yes. Tell us your preferences for clean edits and any songs or themes you want to avoid so we can review your selections together.
