Rustic Wedding BRYSON CITY, North Carolina
One thing about being in the mountains is enjoying of what Western North Carolina has to offer. The beautiful views to enjoy is the one in Bryson City by the name of Nantahala Village. Chris and Emily’s choice really catered to the personality of this beautiful venue! Thankfully Emily’s mom was really helping with all the info needed to make this such a beautiful event for them.
The Setting was just right!
As you can see in the pictures down below the views are breathtaking. Now living in the area for 5 years from Miami, it is so different. The feel and look for weddings in Western North Carolina are in a class by itself. Brides that contact me for a destination wedding in Asheville, go all around WNC. So many views and so many great venues like this one.
The Party of a Lifetime
In getting everything prepared for Chris and Emily, they did everything for a good “flow” of things they wanted. Yes, it does take some time but great news ( As I always mention in all my blogs) preparation is key! I do have available online is a party/wedding questionnaire .What is it that you need is….Some time, some music and a very open mind when getting the info together. ( it is wise to include your spouse to be involved.:)
Ceremony, CocKtail Hour and Reception
When choosing the “sound and feel” Chris and Emily had a mix of good ole shag music and a great mix of 80s music to today. The great thing about being a musician is that I have been blessed with understanding different styles of music and even performing it in my career.Having that advantage, it has given my great awareness of how styles of music play a part in all types of parties having music.
For the party it flowed with acoustic music from the piano guys which played and went with the theme of the view. If that makes sense. The one thing about the view is that it is literally on top of a mountain peek..very cool. As the party moved in to the cocktail hour, I had a chance to perform on trumpet some classic jazz tunes. As it transitioned into the special dances, the flow was just right with classic tunes right into the party. It is such a great resource to see. Just look at the website for all this info.
The importance of reviews
I pride myself is making sure that my brides and grooms are involved and get a custom wedding day. In working in the business of weddings, I am constantly reminded that having custom playlists, having the ability to requests on the fly, really make it to what they want. Its all about YOU! That is what makes it for me… happy brides and happy grooms!
And here is the 5 Star review
Gwen Writes-Our daughter’s wedding was held at Nantahala Village in Bryson City, NC and Patrick provided the music for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. He was fabulous to work with, and we are thankful that he was able to provide the music for this very special occasion in our family! DJ P-LO was great about communicating with us all through the process, very responsive to all of our requests to play any and every song we asked for, he was flexible, dependable, kind, and very professional! Patrick even played the trumpet during part of the evening, and he was outstanding! I would highly recommend DJ P-LO for any special occasion that you may have!
