Are you serious? What..YES It was a Party-Nothing like it!
Marissa and Donato’s First Dance-The Farm

Are you serious? It was a Party-What a Blast!!

This is just a snippet of the INCREDIBLE time Marissa and Donato had at the Farm. One thing I have to say of this particular wedding is that these guys sure know how to party! When I spoke to Marissa, the biggest thing was to have a DJ that can play music for her guests and her family, That being said I had my work cut out since their from my hometown of Miami. Lots of pressure on making sure I had all music from Miami, New York in check.

The Farm in Candler is where it all took place.

When it came to the setup and the space, The Farm is perfect for that rustic, small town feel and as well accommodates a very large group of people. Marissa and Donato’s party was at least 250 people or more..couldn’t really tell from all the dancing and people just mingling and enjoying the venue.

Its a flexible 4-season Event Center with a beautiful space with a vaulted ceiling, indoor stone fireplace, and a wrap-around porch.  A romantic gazebo is just a short walk across the property  – perfect for outdoor ceremonies and the inside in case of rain (yes it happened to be a rainy one) can be accommodated for ceremonies as well. Take a look

Partytime!-DJ P-Lo Style

This was such a great party with such a vast array of musical tastes. Did I mention that the song selections were English and Spanish? Hailing from New York and Miami, the Arguelles definitely wanted the “melting pot” sound. As I recall ( looking at my notes and their wedding questionnaire)

To give you a feel of this night I made a 1 minute mashup of their song selections here using pictures from the talented Megan Gielow from Morning Wild Photography.

As you can see it was such a blast at the party. Even though the mashup is just 4 songs, you see tons of pictures capturing the day and night.

Mixing all styles of music-Live Trumpet

I always like to repeat that getting your information in 10 days prior to your day is key. There is so much planning involved, The venue, the food, The flowers, the color theme and the music. I make it a point to help coordinate with all vendors involved ( even if there is a planner). It is one of the reasons I can say with my 75- 5 star reviews, I take pride in making sure everyone is on the same page when it comes to your special day! Donato was so thrilled ( and his guests) when I took out the horn and did the “strolling trumpet “thing. Just see the review on the bottom. These guys were so cool and so much fun!

DJ P-Lo was such a hit at our wedding! I was worried I wouldn’t be able to find a a good Latin music DJ for our reception and am so happy we found him. He completely catered to our music needs. Beyond that, he had everyone dancing and on their feet all night.. partied on the dance floor with our guests, whipped out instruments for live music during dinner. I was so impressed and we got tons of compliments from guests on how fun our DJ was. Thank you P-Lo for tearing it up!!
